Canucks Crush Sharks 10-1: The Vancouver Canucks handed the San Jose Sharks their 10th straight loss of the season

The Canucks and the Sharks have been Pacific Division rivals since 1998.

The Canucks opened the scoring at 4:38 of the first period, when Hughes fired a wrist shot from the point that beat Sharks goalie Martin Jones.

The second period was more of the same, as the Canucks scored four more goals to extend their lead to 8-1.

The third period saw the Canucks score two more goals to reach double digits.

The Canucks are on fire! Hughes is a beast! Petey is back! Boeser is a sniper! Miller is a machine! Horvat is a leader! Pearson is a workhorse! Hoglander is a rookie sensation

The Canucks showed why they are one of the best teams in the league, with a balanced and explosive offense, a solid defense, and a reliable goaltending.

The Canucks and the Sharks will meet again on Saturday in Vancouver. Will the Canucks continue their hot streak?

Canucks coach Travis Green said he was pleased with his team’s balanced attack and defensive play.
