Chubb suffered the injury on a carry in the second quarter of the Browns' game against the Steelers on September 18, 2023.

He was tackled low by Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and his left knee went inward. Chubb quickly grabbed his leg and was carted off the field.

The initial diagnosis was a dislocated left knee and torn ligaments. The MRI also revealed that he had torn his MCL, PCL, and LCL, as well as cartilage damage.

Chubb will undergo surgery on Tuesday, September 20, to repair the damage to his knee.

Chubb is expected to miss the rest of the 2023 season due to the injury.

Chubb is one of the best running backs in the NFL and his injury is a major blow to the Browns. He was coming off a season in which he rushed for over 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Chubb is expected to start his rehab immediately and he is targeting a return to the field for the start of the 2024 season.

Browns fans were devastated to learn of Chubb's injury. He is one of the most popular players on the team and he is a key part of the Browns' offense.

The Browns still have a lot of talent on their roster, but Chubb's injury is a major blow. They will need to find a way to replace his production if they want to be competitive in the AFC North.
