The Chiefs defeated the Jaguars 17-9. The game was a rematch of the AFC Divisional Round playoff game from last season, which the Chiefs also won.

The Chiefs defense was the story of the game, as they dominated the Jaguars offense. The Chiefs recorded six sacks and forced two turnovers

Patrick Mahomes bounced back from a mediocre performance in Week 1 to throw for 305 yards and two touchdowns against the Jaguars. 

Travis Kelce made his return to the lineup after missing Week 1 with a hyperextended knee. Kelce caught four passes for 26 yards and a touchdown.

The Jaguars missed several opportunities to score points against the Chiefs. Zay Jones dropped two touchdown passes, and Trevor Lawrence threw an interception in the end zone.

Chiefs fans traveled well to Jacksonville for the game, and they took over TIAA Bank Field. 

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid improved to 10-5 against the Jaguars with the win. Reid now has the most wins against the Jaguars of any active coach.

The Chiefs players were happy to bounce back from their Week 1 loss to the Detroit Lions with the win over the Jaguars.

The Chiefs will travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts in Week 3. The Colts are coming off a Week 2 loss to the Houston Texans.
