Former Anaheim Duck Nic Kerdiles died in a Motorcycle Crash in Nashville, Tennessee on September 23, 2023, at the age of 29.
Kerdiles is a native of Irvine, California, and attended the University of Wisconsin where he played soccer prior to being selected in the 2015 NHL Draft by the Anaheim Duck scouts. He played in eleven games for the Ducks in two seasons.
Kerdiles ultimately quit the NHL and relocated to Nashville to work as a real estate broker. He and his then-fiancee Savannah Chrisley appeared on the reality TV series “Chrisley Knows Best” as well.

Kerdiles was traveling south on West End Avenue on his motorbike when he encountered a stop sign along with a westbound SUV, as reported by the Nashville Metro Police Department. The SUV driver wasn’t hurt.
The police mentioned that there was no sign of any impairment on the scene. Kerdiles had been helmeted at time of the accident.
